Debra Wilkinson (Bauerkemper), 62, of Spring, TX, passed away September 8, 2017 after a long hard battle with cancer five times over a span of 22 years. Debbie will be remembered as a strong willed and courageous cancer warrior.

She was born in Houston, TX on November 19, 1954. Debbie graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1972 and received a Master's Degree in Psychology from the University of Houston in 2013. Debra Wilkinson (Bauerkemper), 62, of Spring, TX, passed away September 8, 2017 after a long hard battle with cancer five times over a span of 22 years. Debbie will be remembered as a strong willed and courageous cancer warrior.

She was born in Houston, TX on November 19, 1954. Debbie graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1972 and received a Master's Degree in Psychology from the University of Houston in 2013. Debbie retired from Child Protective Services as a CPS Investigator from the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. Debbie loved to spend time with her family and friends and devoted much of her time and energy enjoying her eight grandchildren.
Debbie was a warm, compassionate and giving woman who was dedicated to helping others. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Debbie is survived by her mother Nettie Gormanous, father Abe Gormanous, her four children, Kandi Anderson, Joshua Capps, Jeremy Capps, and Chase Wilkinson, eight grandchildren, her four brothers Rock, L.C., Calvin and Greg along with many other family and friends. Debbie is preceded in death by her father LC Bauerkemper.

The memorial service for Debra Wilkinson will be Friday, September 15, 2017.
1:00pm at Forest Park the Woodlands, 18000 Interstate 45 South, Shenandoah, TX 77384.
Reception to follow at Martin's Hall, 219 Simonton Street, Conroe, TX 77301.
